become a common phenomenon among minors. The research results described in this chapter
are alarming and prompt us to introduce appropriate changes in this area. What is disturbing
is the addition of other psychoactive substances to liquids, which in the case of young people
who buy from others may result in unconscious addiction not only to nicotine. The chapter
describes the history and reason for the creation of electronic cigarettes. The focus was also on
the consequences of using e-cigarettes in general and in the case of young people in particular.
Legal aspects currently in force regarding the use and distribution in the sales process of this
device are also taken into account.
